A cultural ceremony and land cleansing has been held on the site of the new Wentworth Health Service Redevelopment as part of an Aboriginal tradition used to regenerate Country and prepare the land as a safe and welcoming place.

We’re looking for enthusiastic people to join an Arts Working Group to help drive the integration of art, culture and heritage into the new Wentworth Health Service Redevelopment to ensure it’s a place that is welcoming, promotes wellbeing and reflects the unique local community.

The Wentworth Health Service Redevelopment project team undertook community consultation on the Master Plan in July and August 2022.
Expressions of interest are invited from people to join a Project User Group and contribute to the design of the new health service.
The Master Plan for the Wentworth Health Service Redevelopment was unveiled on 12 July 2022. The existing hospital was also announced as the preferred site for the redevelopment.
